Richelle's Baby Shower

During our visit to PA, we celebrated the anticipated arrival of Baby Girl Ritchey!
The grandma's hosted the shower & I helped decorate =)

{Peter Rabbit Baby Shower}
Location: Oak Grove Youth Center
Hosts: Chris Ritchey, Mary Anne Palmer
MC: Erin Burry (Cousin)

Because the shower was just before Easter, we had no problem finding bunny themed decorations. We didn't want it to be totally "Peter Rabbit" since it was for a girl, but we used fun touches for decorating, like Mr. McGregor's garden for the food & carrot shaped sugar cookies that were to die for! The cake was half carrot cake & half chocolate. Both were very good!

Other bunny decor included, the chocolate bunny shaped favors from Shannon's, pink polka dotted ceramic bunny's for the center pieces, burlap bunny ear napkin holders, & burlap bunny banners.

We decorated the tables with burlap ribbon as a table runner with soft lace down the middle. We found little mossy garlands rolled up that helped our little pink bunny's stand up. 2 soft pink candles were set beside & they smelled like baby powder =) The burlap bunny ear napkin holders tied into the table runner & that was it! We also used pretty tulips for some of the tables since they were being used as prizes.

The beautiful mommy to be!

Mr. McGregor's Garden! Complete with Peter in the watering can =)

Lots of gifts to open!

Guests enjoying the party, playing games & snoozing for the littlest one in attendance =)

Mom & I-- So glad I got to be there =)

Time to open gifts!

Mary Anne & her daughter Richelle

 Before we know it Aunt Richelle will be holding her own little baby girl... we can't wait!

It was so fun celebrating the newest little family member & we are anxiously awaiting her arrival around July 19th! She will be so blessed with Brandon & Richelle as her parents...they have a beautiful house & I know she will have an adorable nursery set up with all the amazing gifts she got just for her. It was such a nice baby shower!
